AIB Design: Needs Analyis
To increase and maintain student capacity to produce work, motivation must be intrinsic, and evident. The data shows that students have a tendency to somewhat, and or completely lose motivation when working on assignments outside of class. The classroom is a great opportunity maximiz- ing student engagement, as faculty and students can interact freely, in a focused envi- ronment. As soon as students leave, engage- ment on work for classes has to compete with the rest of the world.
To increase the speed and capacity that students are working at, I recommend that faculty maximize class time by setting and meeting goals during the class meeting time.
